Wrinkle free
Botox parties are becoming all the rage across the nation and Atlanta is leading the way.

Dr. Brian Maloney, who operates The Maloney Center, is among the first three plastic surgeons in the nation to hold the informal social gatherings, which are centered around the wrinkle-eliminating procedure. The other surgeons are in Beverly Hills and Los Gatos, Calif.

About once a month, Maloney has up to 20 people in his office for coffee and bagels or wine and hors d'oeuvres, depending on the time of day, and an informational session about Botox, microdermabrasion and collagen injections. Maloney provides computer imaging and shows a slide presentation about the procedures.

Unlike other doctors, Maloney said, he doesn't provide treatments at the parties.
“If a patient needs a few glasses of wine for the treatment, they probably need to reconsider their choice,” he said.
The next session is scheduled for April 16.
