Latisse-
the only FDA approved eyelash enhancer. It is a prostoglandin that makes lashes longer, darker and wider
Botox-
The most commonly used wrinkle treatment. It is a protein which relaxes the facial muscles and softens wrinkles
Juvederm- a cross linked hyaluronic acid wrinkle filler. Fillers are placed in the supporting layer of skin to help "fill" in the wrinkle. It lasts up to a year
Facelift-
a procedure which removes excess neck and facial skin which developes over time. There are several types, band aid, life style, mini lift, deep plane, SMAS, and composite.
Rhinoplasty-
plastic surgery of the nose. This procedure inproves the appearance of the nose by commonly making it smaller, removing a hump, narrowing a wide nose, or refining the ball on the end of the nose.

a surgeon who performs cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and body.
Otoplasty-
plastic surgery of the ears to reduce prominent ears. Also called pinning the ears back.
Torn earlobe repair-
earlobe holes can lengthen. When this happens the old hole is removed and a new one is made.
Laser resurfacing or Carbon dioxide laser resurfacing or CO2 laser resurfacing-
the gold standard for wrinkle removal. Nonresurfacing laser resurfacing- Non invasive light or laser devices which transmit a beam of light or energy through the outer layer of skin creating a small amount of damage in the supporting layer. As the tissues repair procedes, collagen is laid down and wrinkles soften. Examples of this kind of laser are, fraxel, thermage, Dot, foto facial, and photoderm.

hyaluronic acid wrinkle filler
Perlane-
a thicker form of hyaluronic acid filler
Juvederm Ultra-
a crosslinked hyaluronic acid filler used for fine lines and wrinkles
Juvederm Ultra Plus-
a more concentrated form of cross linked hyaluronic acid filler used especially for nasolabial folds and facial lines
Radiesse-
a calcium hydroxyapatite wrinkle filler. The material is synthetic but is found in the human body as the framework of bone and teeth.
Reloxin-
a botulinum toxin type A used for treatment of wrinkles. It is known in Europe as Dysport
Skin care-
exfoliation technique, either mechanical such as scrubs and buff puff, or chemical such as glycolic acid, enzyme peel, or retinols to help stimulte skin and achieve youthful healthy skin.
Endoscopic browlift-
a minimal incision techniques using small incisions in the hairline to raise tired or ptotic eyebrows.
Coronal browlift-
a style of brow lift where an incision is made from one ear across the top of the head over to the other ear.
Tricophytic browlift-
A browlift in which a patient has a high hairline or tall forehead. Incisions are made across the fine hairs of the forehad and the scalp is advanced forward at the same time the brows are elevated. This helps to shorten the forehead and elevate the brows.
Lip advancement-
Procedure where skin around the lips is removed and the red lip is rolled out to create a larger more defined lip.
Lip augmentation-
techniques to make lips larger. Fillers such as collagen(Zyderm or Zyplast), or hyaluronic acids may be used. Longer augmentation may occur with fat or Alloderm.
Lip stick lines-
lines around the mouth, typically associated with smoking or frequent use of straws.
Transconjuctival blepharoplasty-
lower eyelid procedure where incisions to remove the bags or unwanted fat are placed on the inside of the eyelid.
Transcutaneous blepharoplasty-
surgery of the upper or lower eyelid where incisions are made on the skin. In the upper eyelid the incision is generally placed in the crease. In the lower eyelid a wrinkle line 2-4 mm beneath the eyelashes is chosen as the location to place the incision.
